Dr. Jin received B.S. degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Dr. Jin obtained Ph.D. degree in biophysics and bioengineering, and M.D. degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Board certified in urology, Dr. Jin has been practicing in San Francisco since 2009.
Dr. Jin’s practice covers male and female adult urology, including urologic cancers, kidney stone diseases, ureteral obstruction, prostate diseases, urinary incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. Dr. Jin specializes in robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and other minimally invasive procedures. He is an expert in advanced robotic surgery to treat patients with prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and ureteral obstruction. He performs minimally invasive endoscopic surgery to patients with complex kidney stone diseases. He also performs in-office procedures, such as UroLift (prostatic urethral lift) and TUNA (Trans Urethral Needle Ablation of the prostate) for benign prostate enlargement, and no-scalpel vasectomy.
